What are my chances of getting into George Washington University and or UCLA/UCBerk if anybody knows one of the three? I’m from Massachusetts, I have a 3.6 unweighted GPA, getting mostly A-'s throughout high school, getting only 4 B’s starting my sophomore year. I’ve taken 10 ap/college courses (we’re able to take courses a college called smith college right down the street from us), around 5 honors courses, and only 1 regular class. My SAT score is a 2000 (750 math, 630 reading, 620 writing) and i want to be a statistics/economics major if that matters. I’ve also been a part of many clubs since freshman and 3 year varsity baseball player.
Have you calculated your UC GPA? I would say match or high match for GW, but I can’t really say anything about the UC’s. Good Luck! Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1734489-final-chance-thread-boston-universtity-gwu-american.html#latest
How many class’s do you take each semester at your school? Just wondering bc 4 Bs would usually mean you have a 3.90 at my school
It’s 4 each semester, so with AP’s I’ll normally take around 6 different classes a year. Also we consider A-'s to be a 3.7 on our GPA, not a 4.0 like some might.
Also my UC GPA since non california honors courses aren’t given the +1 bonus is a 4.25.
My Ap’s with grade and Ap score are
Sophomore year: Ap Chem 90 and a 4
Junior: Us History 85, 4
Statistics. 93, 4
Microeconomics: 96, 5
English Language and Comp, 87, 5
Spanish 120 at Smith college: A-
Senior Year: Ap Physics C - 95,
Calc BC - 80
Macroeconomics at smith college - A
English Lit and comp - next semester
no AP tests yet
