Will I get into MIT?

<p>Ok guys, i applied early to MIT, how are my chances?</p>

<p>stuff about me and scores etc:</p>

<p>Born in Russia, moved when i was 4 so i am a citizen. bilingual. Jewish.</p>

<p>SAT I: 1580 (800m 780v)
SAT IIs: math IIc- 800</p>

sat IIs:</p>

<p>writing- 770
chem- 700(sophomore year)</p>

<p>aps- bc calc- 5, writing (or lit or w/e)- 4, u.s. history- 4.</p>

<p>gpa- 3.6 unscaled, 4+/- .3 scaled at LS, good public school.</p>

<p>ECs- Math team captain
NOSB (science) team captain, team went to nationals last 2 years
NSB (other science) team member
Tennis captain but not like ranked or anything
GSA
some other stuff...</p>

<p>You have a chance (even though your GPA is a little low). MIT looks for "something special" (or unique) about you that makes you a better candidate to attend their school. And it is not just always about good stats.</p>
