I am an international student applying to Penn State Electrical Engineering.
I know Electrical Engineering is a competitive major and since some students have already got admissions, I am worried if I am good enough to get into Penn State.
My Sat1: 1360(reading590, math770)
My Sat2: Physics790, Math2 800
GPA:N/A
GPA is 2/3rds of the decision so that will play the biggest part in getting in. But those subject tests will look good.
Penn state doesn’t even look at subject tests - they aren’t even added to the application. Schreyer might but not general Admissions.
They’ll approximate a GPA for you based on your results - Sid you take any external exams (iGCSEs, DNB, cape…)?
My average score is 90∼91, it may seem low but it’s top 9 percent of 500 students. I’m not sure if it’s good enough. My school is really competitive.
