Will I get into Pitzer?

I turned in my Pitzer application for ED 1 and I was wondering if you think I will get in? Their ED acceptance rate is 30-40%.
I didnt submit SAT scores, and I have a 3.62. I founded my independent study school's newspaper that focuses on raising awareness and finding solutions to global issues. I am the business, managing, and sports editor of my home school's newspaper, I co-organized an event that raised $3000 for the homeless, and I did a environment-based radio broadcasting internship. I volunteer with two environmental protection committees, a pet shelter and I work in a doctors office. I intern with Toastermasters (public speaking) and I have four years of varsity and club volleyball. I am my schools student representative for committees, the trustee and sit on the site council which are all the leadership positions available.

My sophomore and jr grades were all As except for math, and second semester jr year when I switched schools mid semester and got Bs. My essays were about loving watching my dad embrace his bisexuality and how it made me an accepting person and on starting the paper. I have recommendation letters from teachers as well as an alumnus and someone who founded a program to help disenfranchised populations. Can I get in?

You should be ok. Your GPA is average at least. If you have good SAT scores I would submit them, just to throw in another reason to look attractive to them. Your ECs are also pretty substantial.

Good luck!

You sound pretty strong, other than your GPA, which is average. As long as you took some challenging/AP/IB classes, you should be fine. Good luck!

your involvement is really strong and from what i heard, that school looks a lot for involvement. However, they take really high SAT Scores. and their GPA is around 3.7+. Hmm, i’d say this school is going to be hard to get into >.<
