Will I get into Rutgers?

Im going to be a junior starting this year and was wondering if ill get in. I have a 4.1 GPA weighted and i plan to raise it up to 4.3 and hopefully 4.4 by the end of senior year. My rank is 20-25 out of 827 kids but i doubt that matters, but i am going to bring my rank up too. I havent taken the SATs but i plan to get a 2200+ or higher with studying ofcourse. Ive been taking Honors classes since freshman year and now this year i am going to take honors and Pre AP since they dont do AP for juniors in my high school. I will then take AP classes next year. Id like to enter their Computer Science program. I go to a vocational high school and take there own class for computer science.

My ECs are Gifted and Talented, Volunteered at hospital, National Honor Society, E.R.A.S.E, HOSA (video project), chess club, and Class Rep, and Academic Technical Consultant.

I was also wondering if ill be able to get the Presidential Scholarship with my grades. Any financial advice would be appreciative because i want to pay the least amount possible. I live in New Jersey. So please post and comment, much appreciative :)

Obviously you’ll get into Rutgers. For presidential consideration you need to exceed 2250 and have an A gpa. Assuming you gpa system works the same way mine did (A in honors=5.0, non honors=A ect.) yours is probably too low even if you get the 4.3 you said you will :[ Anyway excel on your SATs and who knows, you still have a lot of time. I believe in you!

do they look at GPA weighted or unweighted? I have my reasons for why my gpa is low and its not due to slacking off. I mean if they can hear me out as to why then i should have a fair shot should i?

Uw and I have no idea, I imagine its case by case. Give the admissions office a call when you have the chance and I’m see what they think
