<p>Texas Christian University is my number one choice for college next year and I'm really afraid that I might not make it in, so I wanted to see what you guys thought about my chances. I take multiple IB classes and my unweighted GPA is 3.6. I got a 1980 on the SAT, and I'm hispanic. I'm also involved in many clubs and sports, I've done varsity swimming all four years of high school, soccer for two years, and track for 4 years but was only varsity for 3 of the 4 years. I am also a member of National Honor Society, Key Club, YoungLife, have a part time job and have been a section editor for my school newspaper for 2 and a half years. I'm very involved with my church and have taught Sunday school as well as volunteered for Vacation Bible School every summer. I really hope that this is enough to get me into TCU and hopefully with a scholarship since I definitely can't pay for it on my own, so what do you guys think? Am I going to be accepted?</p>
<p>I got into TCU a couple weeks ago with similar stats. I’d say that you have a great chance. Apply EA. Also, what do you plan on studying? Are you in state?</p>

<p>No I’m not in state and I plan on studying Journalism. I already applied but I didn’t get my application in early enough to be considered for the first round of early action, so I did the second round that qualifies me for scholarship consideration.</p>
