Im hoping someone who has gone through the application process for Texas State that has been accepted or rejected can help me. I applied to Texas State last month and im in the third quarter in my class with a 2.7 GPA and my combined Critical Reading and Math SAT score was 940(not enough for guaranteed admission). I turned in my transcript, SAT scores and application before turning in my fee waiver. Before my fee waiver was approved the status of my turned in transcript was and is "need final transcript after completion of current course work" i know that schools usually ask for a final transcript if you're accepted. Once my fee waiver was approved it said that a decision was made and that i should receive my decision letter through email or regular mail. Can ANYONE please tell me if you think this means i'm accepted. Texas State is my dream school. I'd really love to get in.

With your GPA you probably got accepted. “If you rank in the top 75 percent of your high school graduating class, and your class rank and test scores place you near the assured admission requirements, you may be eligible for Predicted Academic Success (PAS) review.”
Bottom line, I think you are safe in terms of getting admitted. They have a beautiful campus & the location, right between SA & Austin, is great. I was considering going there along with Texas Tech & Texas A&M. Good luck!!

thank you! I hope so!

Hi Ortonfreak! Did you get accepted to Texas State? Thanks!
How did it turn out? I’m in the same boat with a 3.4 GPA 1350 SAT and I’m worried about being denied
