-Hi my overall high school gpa is 80.6 (I know that's terrible)
-My Sat scores are: CR:550 MATH:660 Writing:500
-I have decent extra curricular/volunteer service
-I did winter track

Now I know my gpa is bad but I'm planning on going to med school after college so i actually will try my best in college.

I have applied to the following colleges, I just need you all to chance me please!

Suny Fredonia
Suny Buff State
Suny Plattsburgh
Suny Oswego
Suny Purchase
Suny IT
Morrisville State College
Suny Old Westbury
Suny Brockport
Suny Potsdam

I know that I should go to Community college but I'd rather that be my last resort.

Honestly, don’t worry so much. An 80.6 GPA and an above average SAT (provided it is unweighted, but even if it’s not, no deep worries) will not kill you. Community college is NOT your only option. These schools look fine for your stats, and you should be able to get into at least one of them.

If you want to go to med school though, once you get in, my advice would be to get a really good college GPA. Your college options don’t look horrible; however, med school admissions is extremely competitive and if that’s your ultimate goal, work very hard in college.

Hope this helps! And again, community college is not in your horizon, at least in my opinion :)

@DesiCollegeGal Thank you very much! :D. It feels good to hear someone say that. And yep, once I’m in college it’s gonna be all hard work for me.
