Will I get into these SUNY's

I live in New York, white male
I have a GPA of a 3.7875
I am in the top 12% of my class, approx 40/368 students
My SAT is just average, its not the greatest: Math 530 Writing 570 Critical Reading 480
(1010/1600) (1580/2400)

I will have taken 9 IB/AP/Honors classes by the end of senior year

I play lacrosse and this year (senior year) will be my 4th year. I do a lot of church activities such as delivering flowers to the elderly on holidays. I have participated in the thanksgiving dinner for the elderly at my school by setting up and serving food. Done fundraisers for lacrosse, and for spanish club (which I have been in for 2 years). My work experience is well, I have had 3 jobs, one was in the summer where I worked 30 hours a week.
Got my applications in early before the deadlines..

SUNY's I applied to:

SUNY Buffalo (both parents went there, my brother attends. One of my top choices)
SUNY Stony Brook
SUNY Albany
SUNY Oswego

(applied undeclared major for all)

yes to all

i’m not so sure about UB and Stony Brook though…
you do have decent chances

You have a good chance at all those schools. Stony and UB are the toughest on that list. Retake the SAT if you can to try and improve your score. Your family attending UB is going to help quite a bit.

Good luck man. I’m also interested in Stony and UB.

i like ur chances at all of them…but it seems odd that u would have a 3.78 and a 1010…that kind of unbalance may make the SUNYs question the level of difficulty of ur high school
