Hi, I currently go to school in New Jersey and I wanted to go to ucla; I wanted to know if I had a good chance of getting in.

*Not many people from my school apply to ucla (6-10) each year. Probably around ten kids applied this year.

I have UC unweighted gpa of 3.42. I had a perfect 4.0 junior year, so I have a dramatic gpa upward curve.

I took pretty rigorous courses throughout high school: 8AP's and 7 Honors Including senior year(my senior year schedule involves 4 AP's and one honors)

SAT:1970; 770 Math, 650 Writing 550 Reading

I have a couple of leadership positions (Co-Pres. and VP) and I am a part of four clubs. I have been apart of three of them for all four years and one of them for two years. I also played indian drums for three years. So I guess my EC's show my dedication.

I won an award for creating an innovative business idea; I also made states in FBLA for Banking and Financial Systems. I am also an AP scholar

The admissions representative from UCLA actually reviewed my personal statements and said that they were very good.

Correct me if Im wrong, but I think UC schools are going to want to accept more out of state students because of the money problems in Cali. I dont know if that helps.

Please chance me... I will chance back
