i’m a junior in highschool and i have a 3.65 gpa un weighted but by the end of my junior year it will be a 3.7. I’m in AP biology this year, and next year i will be doing AP psych, Ap french, and AP stats along with a college dual enrollment class–Public speaking. I’m involved in HOSA (club for students who want to be in the medical field), i volunteer for the special olympics every year, french club, treasurer of crime stoppers, authentic voice, choir, soccer, and i’m a volunteer sunday school teacher. I haven’t taken my ACT but i’m taking preparation classes and practice tests and i’m hoping to get at least a 30.
btw I want to major in Nursing.
Until you have a definite ACT score and you have finished your Junior year, you cannot be chanced. You are on the right track and keep up the good work. You want to aim for a 4.0 UC GPA (capped) and that ACT of 30 for the best chances. Here is the UC GPA calculator: http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
You’ve really gotta rock that test… i’d take both the SAT and ACT and soon so you can re-take if you don’t like the results.
