Hi guys. This is my first post and I just wanted to know if I'll get into UCSB for next fall. I was also wondering what are my chances of being accepted into the other UC's as well, if people have the time.

I know there are many debates about high school transfers and cc transfers, but I just want the answer to my question. I worked my butt off at my cc and my GPA went down from a 3.6 because in the summer I took two high stakes classes and had to miss a class meeting each because I went on a missions trip. By the way, the classes only met 6 times...So with that being said, here's what I have.

Major: Psychology
Year: Second Year
Transferable GPA: 3.441
Transferable GPA hopefully by the end of this semester: 3.446 or 3.51
Transferable units completed: 34
Transferable units completed by the end of this semester: 47
Transferable Units completed prior to Spring: 60
IGETC: All will be done prior to Spring, only classes left are my science with a lab, my transferable math, and 5 more units. The transferable math, which will be done in the winter session, is the only thing I'm really worried about in this section. I'm already signed up for all the classes I need to finish IGETC prior to Spring and I even made an appeal to take more units than the maximum amount.
Pre-requisites for Psychology at UCSB: All done prior to spring except Calculus. I can finish pre-calc by the end of Spring, but I don't know if this will affect my chances. I was told that I can take Calc over there, but once again, I don't know if this will affect my chances of admissions.
Transfer Programs: None
Other: I'm in an academic honor society at school, my extra circulars are solid, and I didn't have a job during my time at my CC.

P.S. I'm thankful for CC's because although I was a good student, I went through a lot in high school and missed a lot of classes. So it's really great that I still have a second chance into getting into a great school.
