Hello all,

I was accepted EA to UGA and received the Charter Scholarship (which they say is given 200-250 new students). As a Georgia resident, UGA is increasingly moving closer to the top of my college list due to affordability, and if I get into the honors program, the quality of education I'm sure will be very good.

I'm not completely sure, however, that I'll get in. My stats are:
4.2 w GPA (3.97 uw) - IB Diploma Candidate - Most rigorous course load
Top 5% of my class
2080 SATs (1390 CR+M)
30 ACT (30 M, 27 S, 34 W, 29 R)
SAT IIs: 700 USH, 680 Math IIC

-My GPA is above the Honors College average by about .11 but my SATs are about 70 points lower than the average (mid-range is 1430-1490).

Really good ECs: organized a benefit concert for Trees Atlanta that raised $2,500; Captain of my Relay for Life team that raised $2,000; organized tutoring program; president/officer positions in a handful of other clubs.

Given my stats and the fact that I received a charter scholarship, do you think that I will get into the Honors College? Any personal experience with similar stats? Thanks!
