Will I get into Umass Amherst?

<p>I applied as a transfer student (only 12 credits)to Umass Amherst for this upcoming year, I've not gotten a response yet, so I was wondering what are my chances?</p>

<ul>
<li>I am latino, went to high school in the Dominican Republic.</li>
<li>My High School gpa was 3.45 (Although is calculated different in DR, I got mostly A's and B's)</li>
<li>I got 1140 is SAT (570 math 570 CR).</li>
<li>I took 6 credits in continuing ed at Umass Lowell this past fall semester and got an A and A-</li>
<li>I'm taking 6 more this semester and will probably get A's.</li>
</ul>

<p>PD:I've already been accepted to SUNY Stony Brook, Uconn, and Umass Lowell.</p>

<p>so what are my chances at Umass Amherst.</p>

<p>lol, your taking UMass over UConn?.. Are you instate?</p>

<p>Yes I’m Massachusetts Residents… Uconn is kind of expensive… 39K</p>

<p>If you are in-state I think you have a good chance at acceptance. Just make sure your recs and essays are good. The fact you are a URM helps.</p>
