<p>What do you want to study? Lowell has some real flagship programs – engineering is stong as well as the health dept – like physical therapy – fantastic program. I think you’d be ok at Lowell… not sure at Amherst.</p>
<p>i want to major in information systems managment at umass business schools. also, i would be willing to transfer from umass lowell to umass amherst after a year of lowell</p>
<p>I would be surprised if you get rejected from Lowell. I’d say 95% chance of being accepted and a 5% chance of being waitlisted. Amherst is a bit tougher to get in. I’d say at least a 65% chance with those stats, but there are other factors to consider.</p>
