SATs are average, GPA is a little low. Try to being it up as much as possible.
What's the highest you can get?

yea unfortunately i'm in my senior year and cannot bring it up. I'm also applying to Altoona. Do you think i'll get into that campus?

Yes, you'll definitely get into Altoona. But still apply for UP.

Wat do you think my chances are of getting into Rutgers New Brunswick?

How about Syracuse University?

Also, whats the difference between University Park and Altoona?
I'll still be going to Penn State, right?
when i graduate, will i be looked down on because i didnt make it out of UP.
Also, i heard Altoona is becoming the new UP. I guess it's the second biggest campus.

In case you didn't know, you are almost 100% guaranteed to transfer to UP after 1 year as long as you do decent your freshman year

I heard that it was two years.

You are in Syracuse University.

i'm definitly into Sryacuse U??

I heard 2 years for transferring as well. Your Penn State degree will have no distinction between UP and Altoona.

It is generally two years , but depends on the major. I remember at least one majoe requires you to transfer after three semesters, I think bc the classes you need are only at UP.

Sat score is 1280 and GPA 3.299 = You are definitly into Syracuse University.

I think your GPA is low for Syracuse. Definately not a guarantee. But then again, you have nothing to lose to try :) I think your chances are good at Rutgers, especially if you are a NJ resident.

In at Altoona, good chance at UP. Did you visit UP yet? What state are you from?

yes i did visit UP

I'm from New Jersey

also, a friend of mine who got a 1760 got into UP last year.
His gpa was better, but only because he took all low courses.

Keep in mind that standards for admission are going to be more rigorous this year compared to last.
