Hi! So William and Mary has been my dream college since I was a kid and I really want to know what are my chances of getting in.
My underweighted GPA:3.75 Weighted:4.1
I have taken 1 AP class sophomore year (AP World), 2 junior year (Psych and US history), and now 5 senior year(Comparative Gov, Spanish, AB calc, Lit, and Biology). I got 5 on all of them so far.
I have taken all honors except for English last year because i had a big workload.
My SAT score was 1780-which is horrible but I'm hoping a number won't define me. I am planning to take the SAT again this October with a realistic goal of 1860.
Extracurricular:
-I have been in a few school plays
-I am president of History Honors Society and National History Club
-I have been a tutor at my school's writing center for 2 years, and have been to a couple of writing conferences: one at University of Maryland and one at George Mason
-I have around 150 hours of volunteering at the hospital
-I have worked at Kumon for a year
-I am in NHS and Science Honors Society
-Over the summer I had an internship at the National Institutes of Health in the National Cancer Institute where I attended seminars and lectures, shadowed brain surgery, and shadowed an autopsy
Awards
-All A and B honor roll
-selected and attend Mount Vernon student leadership conference
- i have been selected to present at a writing center conference in Chicago but that is this November 1-5 so I don't know if I should count that
I am planning to apply early decision only because with my low SAT scores, I have a lower chance of getting in regular right? Or would I have an equal shot at applying regular? Please tell me if you think I will get in, I am so stressed out and I love this college so much!

Have you tried taking the ACT? You may do better on it then the SAT.
