So here's the skinny:
I was excepted EDI to Hamilton College and was literally the happiest person in the world. My GPA when I applied in the fall(for 1st Semester) fell around a 91-92, lower than the past three years, but respectable. Anyhow, this quarter(3rd) my overall GPA fell to an 86, and I received a 75 in AP Lit, a subject that I am supposedly good at. I'm totally terrified that I will not be allowed to attend next fall, and I don't know what to do!
Suggestions and/or comments would be great! Thanks CC Community.

You probably won’t get rescinded for a C. A D or an F would do it, though.

HAHAHA. Not that your situation is funny, but:
I too am a Hamilton prospective student who got a C this quarter - AP Euro in my case.
I’m just telling myself it’s fine, I think we should just avoid getting a C for the year in our classes and we should be okay.
Good luck my potential future classmate! :)

HAhaha paint that is funny. not the whole oh **** we might not get to go bit, but small world!

Small world? BTW its accepted … not excepted.

But I hope you don’t get “excepted” because of your C.

What if you have two C’s for final grades instead of that D? Watch out for that too.

A world that will seem even smaller at Hamilton. Had I gotten in ED, I don’t think I could have even maintained a 92, haha. My problem is that Euro is first period… and I love sleep. Bad decisions on my part. Weird thing is, it’s one of my better subjects as well.
I hope this will all be behind us in a few months (though I’m not definite on Hamilton for financial reasons). And APs are in a week, so I think we’ll be alright!

I highly doubt the school will recind you.

Oh dear light we may have diagnosed my AP Lit problem lol. Thanks all, panic attack over!

Here’s a crazy idea: Work your tail off for the rest of the year. :)
