Will I get my letter today?

<p>hi guys so notre dame sent out a tweet saying they mailed decision letters midday yesterday, if I live in chicago will I get my letter today you think? </p>

<p>I'm going on vacation for 2 weeks tomorrow so I really wanna get it. </p>

<p>I wouldn't think south bend Indiana to Chicago would take more than a day but idk</p>

<p>Most schools will reply to an email inquiry about admissions if you don’t have your letter in hand within about 5 business days after mailing. If you do go on vacation before it comes, email admissions and ask.</p>

<p>Just because the admissions office said it’s ‘in the mail’ doesn’t mean that it’s ‘at the post office.’ At my (government) office, if it is not in the mailroom by 10 am, it’s unlikely to leave the building that day.</p>
