I feel you. I have D in Pre Calc and i’m trying to raise it but I don’t have enough time. I am worried I might get rescinded too I am sooo worried

no, you wont get recined.
trust me on this. if i were you i wouldnt worry.
trust me, it is very very very rare that a person gets recined.
you will hear stories but you wil have to be very very very lucky to actually see the person.

also most universities dont reciened except top schools, and if so only like 2 max, per year for the 10,000 freshmans.,…
and thats because they commited a crime or got caught cheating..
good luck

I would talk with your counselor asap because those grades are grounds for academic probation / rescind at some colleges. It usually helps also to check out if there’s any specific policies UW has regarding admissions (for example, UC Berkeley is extremely clear that unless you have extenuating circumstances, getting below a 3.0 uw or a D in a class is pretty much an automatic rescind).

The way it usually works is that they will see your final senior year grades as single grades for the WHOLE year. If you have a D second term, it could be mitagated by first term grades and averaged. Only the year averages are what are sent by the schools I know. Ask your GC exactly what they send the colleges.

Transcripts vary by school. In our district semester grades are shown for all classes. Your guidance counselor can tell you, as cptofthehouse points out.

It might be a good idea to talk over the situation with guidance anyway. Chances are good that they have seen similar cases in the past. In addition, if there are any mitigating factors they may be able to call UW on your behalf.
