So first semester senior year I had two C’s, two B+, and 2 A’s, which is pretty much a 3.0. Now Im most likely gonna end up with one D and two C’s, one A-, and two A’s at the end of second semester. Im going to CU Boulder next year, undecided major, and Im scared that they will rescind me with my two C’s and one D. What are the chances I get rescinded?
I would guess you’re fine, but no one on here could really tell you for sure. One D and 2 C’s isn’t that bad-- I think it would take failing grades to be rescinded. Also I could be wrong but I was under the impression they just look at your overall GPA for the year on your final transcript and don’t look too much into individual classes.
Little to none.
Getting a D is a no no. Is it your semester grade or will it be your year end grade?
Agreed that a D can be an issue. Talk to your guidance counselor and see what is on the final transcript sent to colleges (sometimes it is only the final grade, not a semester grade). If a D be the final grade you may want to contact the school proactively.
