I received two C's in my entire senior year. 1st semester I got a C in calc bc at my local community college. My other C was in AP Chem second semester. My unweighted GPA second semester is 3.4 and my unweighted for the whole year is 3.45. I already reported the 2 C's. Will I be rescinded?

This is concerning only 2 C’s! I don’t know about 3 C’s or 4 C’s.

No. I highly doubt you will be rescinded. In my senior year of high school, I got all Bs and 2 Cs (AP Calc). I was worried because UCLA makes it seem like the most horrible thing on Earth. I called. I cried from the anxiety. I was stressed. I could not even enjoy orientation because I was dreading an email saying I was rescinded. But I never received it. And I highly doubt (unless they become way more strict) you will receive one.

There was even a guy who got rescinded (and posted it on the class of 2017 page) but he took classes during the summer at his local community college. I even recognized him in one of my classes last year.

I would not relax completely, but look at it this way: Why would UCLA accept you and then kick you out for a high school class you technically passed?

Awesome! Thank you for the reassurance.

Yeah, you’re good. I got 4 C’s and I’m still going. As long as your major isn’t calc or chem, I wouldn’t worry at all.

@hathair5 how did this work out for you? I’m an undergrad Art Major in a similar situation right now with 3 C’s (in AP Econ and Pre-Calc).
