I currently have a D in regular Calculus and may be able to bring it up to a C but I’m not very certain if I can manage that. All of my other grades throughout high school have been A’s and B’s so this is the only class I’ve ever done very poorly in. Will I get rescinded for it even if it was an extra A-G course? And how do I email them about this because I don’t have any explanation other than my teacher giving us problems from AP Calc AB & BC even though we were taking regular and the fact that I have A’s in all of my other classes makes my performance gap seem strange.
Unless the provisional admission contract for UCR has changed, you need to maintain a 3.0 weighted GPA Senior year with no D’s or F’s so you could be rescinded but they will review each applicant on a case by case basis. If you do end up with a D, then contact admissions immediately and offer to retake the class during the summer and hopefully they will let you retain your acceptance.
I would call first and then follow with an email.
