Soo I think I should be fine, but I’m starting to get paranoid so I thought I’d ask you all. I’m going to UCSB for (pre) Economics and Accounting and I kind of slacked off second semester… Will I get rescinded for getting 3 C’s (one for an online high school course that I’m not sure will be added to my gpa), 3 B’s and 1 A? I’m taking two AP’s this semester so my cumulative is still a 3.0 weighted including the online course. I also checked and made sure that the AP’s i had were UC approved, so I think I should be fine about that.
Am I just stressing out over nothing or should I actually be worried?
PLEASE HELP
THANKS
I doubt that you will have a problem but you will probably continue to worry until you hear definitively. Call the school on Monday and talk to them.
thank you anyone else have any advice for me?
Collective wisdom on CC seems to indicate that you will not get rescinded over Cs. Ds and worse are cause for concern. I don’t think you have a problem. However, don’t repeat this pattern while at college, or it could end in tears.
3.0 unweighted GPA for Senior year, no D’s or F’s. You are fine.
Here is UCSB’s Conditions of Admissions Contract:

But you said 3.0 weighted OP UCSB requires 3.0 Unweighted
Sorry, typo. Go with @Erin’s Dad post 3.0 weighted GPA Senior year. UCLA and UCB ask for a 3.0 unweighted GPA.
