I was recently accepted ED to Brown University. Since 1st quarter, I was 4th out of a class of 47; my school report simply stated I was in the top 10%. However, I'm getting slightly spastic because I might not be in the top 10% percent for the 1st semester. My grades haven't gone down significantly: most have stayed the same and a few subjects have gone down a few points and I'm still working very hard. 1st quarter I had 4As and 1B+ in my five major classes; this time I might have 2-3As and 3-2Bs. Will Brown send me a warning about not being the top 10% anymore or is there a chance my acceptance will be revoked? I think I'm overreacting but I'm spazzing out nonetheless...

You're over-reacting. Generally they mean if you start getting C's or D's.

umm...youre majorly...like MAJORLY SPASSING OUT...relax...a's and b's and maybe even a c wont even get you a warning...someone told me most colleges offer like 2

my college counselor scared me. she implied that brown might send me a warning letter if my ranking dropped to 6 out of 47 or something like that

they dont care about your ranking...do you think they have a computer that updates the ranking of every admitted student real time? no lol...all they care is that you maintain some decent grades. period.

gotcha. thanks!

They'd only care if there was a significant decrease, like if you started failing.

Last time I checked B was still a good grade. :( Times change...times change... sigh
