Will I get rescinded?

1) My tritonlink page says I need to maintain a 3.0 weighted GPA senior year. I have a UC gpa of a 3.8 and I received a 3.8 first semester. If I get a 2.6-2.8 second semester, would that give me a good chance of being rescinded? My overall senior grade would be well above a 3.0 but I don't know if i can get my second semester gpa to a 3.0

2) If i get a C- in a class is that okay or does it need to be a solid C?

3) As long as I get a 3.00 weighted and no D's and F's then there is absolutely no chance to get rescinded right? Even though my senior weighted grade is noticeably below my overall high school gpa.

Please post any info if you have any! Any and all help is appreciated :)

Thanks!

I believe your overall senior GPA has to be above 3.0. So your situation right now should be okay since your first semester senior GPA is 3.8

I was actually curious about this issue also. The site says you “must not recieve anything lower than a C.” I couldn’t tell if they meant literally “C” as in average C (75%). I emailed them about this awhile ago, but their reply was not helpful at all (it merely retold me I must not receive anything lower than a C). But using my logic, I believe any type of C is okay (70-79). In terms of GPA, all C’s are the same? So how C+ and C-'s are weighed evenly should apply to this situation also.

To reiterate, yes xD you are correct

I believe C- counts as a C. If you get anything less than a 3.0, you could get rescinded. If I recall correctly, it’s a weighted 3.0. I know people who didn’t meet these requirements who did not get rescinded, but I’ve heard of it happening.

As long as you pass your classes, you’ll be fine. And passing means anything above a D(+).

Hi, I have a question. If I were to get a D+ in a class but maintain higher than a 3.0 GPA the 2nd semester of my senior year (As in all the other 5 classes) will my admission be revoked?

It’s not guaranteed you will be, but it is possible. Be sure to send in an appeal to explain yourself.
