i got into uiuc for engineering, and in my senior year first semester i got 3 Cs and 2 Fs (in math and physics)
i still have my finals to get better grades in, but i’m scared of them seeing the previous grades too. will i get rescinded?
So your first semester grades, ones that go on your official transcript, include 3 Cs and 2 Fs? Yikes! I hate to be negative, but realistically there’s a very real chance your acceptance will rescinded unless there were some very special extenuating circumstances.
Make sure to have other options just in case and work hard this semester. Good luck; I really hope everything works out for you!!! 
well yes there were actually some circumstances which ill let them know about. also, is it the same for ut austin? thanks for your help!
If there were some extenuating circumstances can you also get your guidance counselor to explain them in a letter attached to your transcript or by contacting the school directly? And yes, I would imagine this would apply to UT Austin as well.

well i have a letter ive written myself along with a letter from a doctor, hopefully that’ll help. of course it hasnt happened yet so i just have to do better in my finals, maybe then i won’t need to worry about this.
