<p>No. One C isn’t a big deal.</p>
<p>It will depend on the rest of your grades… If you have straight As and the C, probably not, if you have straight Bs and the C, possibly.</p>
<p>Almost certainly not with one C. Things happen and colleges go to a lot of trouble to decide who to admit; they would prefer not to reverse their decision. I don’t recall ever hearing about a student who got rescinded for just getting a C; getting a C because he was caught cheating on the mid-term, possibly.</p>
<p>However, you may have to report this change to the admissions committee. It depends on what your contract is. Usually, in UC schools (at least for UCLA), if you get lower than a B, you’ll have to report this change.</p>
