will i get rescinded?

so i was accepted to cornell cals ed and i am so happy. i barely got in though- i have a 3.8 (out of 4.0) average and a 1800 sat. my essays were outstanding though, and i have an extensive list of activities that set me apart from the rest of the application field.

either way, i was not expecting to get in first quarter/ beginning of second quarter and now my grades are not exemplary.
Quarter GPA: 3.41
2012-13 British Literature B
2012-13 Holocaust, Genocide, Human Rights A-
2012-13 Participation in Govt R B+
2012-13 College French B-
2012-13 Concert Choir A+
2012-13 Introduction to Calculus B
2012-13 Personal Fitness A/D (Yr) A

second semester looks a lot like that, only a C+ in calc.

i know i am not the "typical cornellian". i'm just as surprised as you are i was accepted. but my question is- how likely is it i will be rescinded? please be honest. should i email admissions? i'm having a panic attack over here.

You’ll probably be fine… Just try to keep everything above a C.

Calm down, and get to work on Calculus. You still have a long semester ahead of you, and you need to make sure you have a solid understanding of the material.

I was accepted with similar stats and the same things are happening to my grades. I think we are fine, just work on calc, I’ll work on Euro :p

You’ll be fine, but don’t email them. It’ll only bring an otherwise insignificant drop to their attention.
