<p>I am worried that i might get my admission rescinded. I am not doing well in AP physics, first quarter i got a 66 (thats a D, two points from an F), second i got an 85, and then now i got a 65. This is the only class i am doing poorly in and i was wondering if anyone knew for sure Binghamtons rescinding history/policy. Thank you in advance.</p>
<p>dropping from 88 avg to like all Ds, 65-75. I'm worried. have they ever rescinded anyone?</p>
<p>you have all D's thats probably not good, i wass looking around tho and it seems like they very rarly rescind</p>
<p>ok if you get rescind.. i def will and that would be bad because i've paid my deposit and what not and i really want to go.. DAH!... but heres what i posted before..</p>
<p>"ok, so i was realllly worried too because i am majorly sucking in school right now and my senioritis is to the max and so i called the admissions office to ask what would qualify me to be rescind, the admissions lady that i talked to didn't even know what that ment, she was like what?? re-what?? and so i explained to her and asked if students got rescind she was like i've never heard of that.. once you're in you're in unless you drop out and don't graduate or get like a gpa of 1, and i was like oohh haha i was really worried, she was like don't be, just graduate honey. hahah so don't stress too much? just GRADUATE!"</p>
<p>oh and bing is a big public school, big public schools usually don't check up on final grades that much?? its usually the private more selective schools that do.. i hope.. CRAP now i'm scared :[</p>
<p>ok so i'm really worried, heres my chat with admissions</p>
<p>me: hello, i have a question concerning being rescind
bearcatqstns: Hi! what's the question?
me: what would qualify one to get rescind??
me: i'm worried about my senior grades..
me: and getting rescind
bearcatqstns: well, we try to give most students the benefit of the doubt. If' you've gone from all A's to all F's, we havae problem. if you've slipped a little, it's forgivable
me: would i get a warning? like be put on acedemic probation? or would i just get dropped?
bearcatqstns: can I ask how bad you've done?
me: i'm doing poorly in my ap chem and physics class
bearcatqstns: are you still passing them?
me: i'm barely passing physics, and i'm currently failing ap chem
me: would i get rescind due to those grades?
bearcatqstns: it's possible. we do review all final transcripts, but sometimes that doesn't happen until the end of july.<br>
bearcatqstns: If you want to be sure, send us an updated transcript and we can review sooner
bearcatqstns: Is there a reason for the slip in your grades?
me: can i be rescind then?? i've already paid my deposit.
me: well yes i suppose so.. theres always a reason.
bearcatqstns: unfortuantely, there is a possiblity that you could be rescinded. when we offer admission, we expect students to stay at the current level of performance throughout the remainder of the year.
me: if i do extremely well my last quarter is there a chance that i could redeem myself?
bearcatqstns: absolutely! I would recommend going in for extra help from your teachers and really getting your focus back. As long as you are passing the classes, you will be in ok shape.
me: what if my final grade for chem was an F but i pulled a A/B the last quarter, would that be taken into consideration?, sorry
bearcatqstns: yes...we like to see improvement
me: oh well with that said thank you so much for answering my questions, i will work towards doing extremely well my last quarter!
bearcatqstns: hang in there...you'll be fine! study hard and talk to your teachers</p>
<p>oh mannnnn, got to do well last quarterrrrr FREAKKKKKKKKK</p>
<p>so if i get all 65s will i get rescinded?</p>
<p>i don't know :[
but i'm getting more scared by the day</p>
<p>but the rep did say "As long as you are passing the classes, you will be in ok shape."</p>
<p>but its such a riskkk, mannnn i hate being a slackerrrr</p>
