I’m hoping for any advice that I can get. On my application, I reported that I would take pre calculus this semester at a local community college but since then, I had to drop the class. On top of that, I reported that I’d be finishing the second semester of an independent study geometry class I took in the fall, however I will be finishing it in the spring.
I’ve reported these changes through my portal, and the message said I would be notified within 2-3 weeks. I’m kinda freaking out though, so could anyone give me some advice, or let me know whether I’ll be fine or rescinded?
Since you notified admissions, I think everything will be fine. They just need time to review your application with the noted changes. Good Luck.
Hello everyone, I have a question for the accepted transfer students from last year or for anyone who can answer my question. I am, like other transfer applicants, waiting for my admission news, but I am quite worried since UC requires transfers to have at least two writing courses. I took one and I am taking one right now this spring 2016. UC website says I need these two courses before transferring to UC. Do you think I am at a huge disadvantage that can lead to a rejection because I don’t have two courses of writing?
Thank you so much for your time. I really appreciate it.
Hi! Could I ask you on what your result was?
Looking at it, I think for the geometry you would be fine because you are still completing it by Spring. It would be bad if its Summer but I think they accept it if its by Spring. But for precal, because you dropped it, I feel like they most likely might rescind…
I’m going through a similar situation for Calculus ): it’s this Spring semester right now too so I wouldn’t have time to retake it. I might have to drop it, meaning I would take it during the summer but wouldn’t be able to take Calc 2 in the summer like I had stated. I feel like they would rescind if I miss either or.
How long did it take for them to get back to you? It’s almost been 3 weeks for me
