Will I get rescinded?

I got accepted to Texas State University a few months ago. I consistently keep a 3.2 unweighted GPA and did decently all throughout high school. I attended school in California and qualified as an in state student for TXST since my parents own property in Texas. I always pulled C’s in math but got A’s and B’s everywhere else. I did average on my SAT and well in AP tests.

However second semester senior year I got a D+ in Stats and my teacher does not round grades. Its the only D on my transcript and I looked everywhere for rescind policies. I assume its case by case. I still have a 3.0 unweighted GPA and its very likely I did well on my AP tests that I took this month. I’m very worried if I’ll get rescinded but I’ve heard stories that others schools send warning letters and give students a chance to prove themselves. Am I okay or should I be worried?

I don’t think you have anything to worry about. As long as you meet the math requirements you will be fine. The state of Texas requires Four credits of Math
Including: algebra I and II, geometry and advanced math. Your GPA is fine for Texas state and a D+ is a passing grade for the math class. If you would have failed the stats class your case would have went thru a review process. My son goes to Texas State and loves it. I don’t think you have anything to worry about.
