Will I get rescinded?

So to make things short, I currently have a D in Woodshop and I can’t even explain why I have a D in Woodshop. I have done all the assignments on time and have gotten an A on both. I asked my teacher about my grade and he said I still have a D, when I asked him how I could possibly have a D when I do the assignments, he gave me a very unclear reason. I’m not sure if he has something against me (I don’t do anything outrageously disrespectful in his class) but I know it says I must pass all my coursework with a C or better.

I really don’t want to be rescinded because of a D in an elective class that don’t pertain to my major (Business Administration).

I have all B’s and A’s in my other classes this year which are:
AP Biology
AP English Lit
AP Government
AP Stat

With the D in woodshop I have a GPA of below 3.0 UW. I emailed Cal Poly but I’m still freaking out about having a D on my transcript. I have never failed a class before and it’s unfortunate that the D I have is in my last semester of high school and I think it will negatively affect my admission decision.

Furthermore, I have enough credits to satisfy the A-G requirements which I think is the same as the College Preparatory Coursework? My classes I’ve taken are below, I think I’m okay (the D doesn’t affect my ability to graduate)- but second opinions would be helpful.

9th Grade: AP World, Alg. 2, Theatre, World Lit, PE, Spanish 1, French 1
10th: AP Physics B, AP Euro, English, Precalc, Ceramics, French 2
11th: French 3, AP Eng Lang, AP Calc AB, AP Chem, US History, Physiology
12th: Ap Eng Lit, AP Gov, AP Macroecon, AP Stat, AP Bio, TA, Woodshop (Class I’m failing)

Pleaase help!!!

You need to go to your head of school and have them intervene so you get clarity on your (what appears to be) unjustified grade. There’s a good chance it’ll cause you to get rescinded.

Hi so I’m a 3.6 or 3.7 average student. This year I’ll have a 3.48 which will make this the only semester ever where I wont have above a 3.5. Will this give me a bad image or have me rescinded in any way?

Once students are admitted they must maintain a C or better in their remaining classes.

@ssasianchick, I agree that you need to get some other school official involved. If you aren’t able to get someone to explain your grade to you, then you may need to have your parents help. The teacher can’t just randomly give you a course grade without backing it up with individual scores. Does your school use PowerSchool or some other grade tracking program?

Pick up the phone and call the school. Why wouldn’t that have been the first thing you did?
