Okay, so I took courses at a local community college over the summer before junior year. I reported one grade but neglected to report the other. Am I screwed?

i don’t think so because the application only requires you to report all courses that satisfy the a-g requirements, not everything you’ve taken. So you can omit the grade from your application.

But the class was General Physics. I got a B.

eaad: that is incorrect.

TheProPagan: You need to call the Admission Office and let them know. Don’t ignore something just because it may not fall under A-G. UCLA will have grounds to rescind, if you do not report grade/class errors to them, but as long as you do it and it’s nothing that requires a huge dealing, then you’re fine.

Never assume anything, just always inform UCLA of any changes. Because if they find out later on (through transcripts), then they will take away your admissions. Trust me, it has happened many a time. I’ve worked with UCLA Administration for over 3 years. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Hope this helps!

I’d like to thank those who have responded for doing so. More advice from more parties including those that have already contributed would also be appreciated.

what if you took a non-required class (drawing) for fun and didn’t finish the class? You wouldn’t have to report that, right?

did you list it on your UC application? If so, report it. Shouldn’t be an issue as long as you let them know. If it was to fulfill your a-g arts requirement, uh-oh.

Thanks for the reply. It wasn’t for the requirement and I didn’t list it, so I think that it’s okay.

Er, what are my chances of surviving this unscathed?

Bump. tenchar
