Will I Get Revoked From UCLA

Okay so UCLA is very unclear in their admissions contract about what GPA is needed to maintain admission. On their website it says you need to get a 3.0 unweighted or higher in your senior year. First semester I got a 4.0 and this semester I got a 2.86 making my average GPA around 3.45. I got 2 Cs by the way. Does anyone know what I should do in this situation and whether I will be okay?

Your GPA is fine since your total for Senior year is above 3.0. Also if you have more than 2 C grades you need to report them to UCLA. You are OK.

Thank you. I’m still going to call to doublecheck. Luckily, I only got two Cs.

@couplemoreweeks I thought that you needed to inform them if you got 2 or more C’s; I’m pretty sure that’s what the admissions contract said this year. If you wouldn’t mind, let us know how it goes.

No it says more than 2 Cs

@couplemoreweeks Two more C’s so you still have to report two C’s.“You must notify our office if, in your senior year, you receive two or more C grades; you receive any D or F grades; or your class schedule changes.”

@DPattt I’m not sure where you are looking can you tell me where because I’m worried. On their website it says

You should report any of the following situations:

If you dropped any courses which were listed on your application.
If you changed any courses which were listed on your application.
If you received any D or F grades or more than two C grades, or if your senior year unweighted GPA will fall below 3.00.
If you fail to meet the provisions of your admission contract.

@couplemoreweeks On the admissions contract, thats what it says for me. I’m not sure if we have different contracts, but this is also what I’ve been told by my other friends who are attending ucla. I found it where my acceptance letter is an they oresent the admission contract; if that is what it says for you though, i wouldnt worry. I’m also curious as to whether the 3.0 is for senior year total or for each semester. Ive been told that its for the entire year, but im not sure.

I emailed UCLA and they got back to me within two days. My admissions status will not be affected!
