Will i get revoked from ucsb ?

<p>i am getting screwed in AP bio and i might end up with a D+ , what should i do ?
with a D+ i have a 2.83 but in 1st semester i had no Ds or Fs and i had a 3.17
u think if i tell them they will rescind my acceptance ? </p>

<p>i contacted the admission's office yesterday and they told me to contact an admissions counselor via email, which i did.</p>

<p>And I’d have a good explanation ready about why you’re getting the D, hopefully something better than “I’m getting screwed.” Taking responsibility is ALWAYS more impressive than blaming someone else.</p>

<p>I emailed them and my reason was that I was very sick. Sometimes I was so sick that the teachers had to send me home. :(</p>

<p>Ok that’s legit. But they may want to know why you were able to maintain your grades in everything except bio. I’m not picking on you, just letting you know that’s a question I would have. Maybe they won’t ask, and I doubt you’ll be rescinded just for that one D in any case.</p>

<p>I think that you will be okay, but if they ask why your Bio grade was the only one to suffer say this: </p>

<p>You spent the most time working in that class and by becoming ill, you were unable to have enough adequate time to prepare for the class.</p>

<p>The reason for the bio grade drop was because I am not a great memorizer + retaining things in the memory while havind terrible headaces isn’t really good.</p>

<p>Well its been a while but i want to thank all the people who have helped me through this ordeal. :)</p>

<p>i got a C in bio and my weighted for the 2nd semester grade is a flat 3.0 </p>
