In my first semester final exam of a weighted advanced science class i failed. So it averaged out to a low 70's. This weighted avg is a D in my school. I know they want me to notify them if i get a D grade. But is it better if i don't? Won't they revoke me anyway if i do notify them?

Personally, I think its better to hear it from you than not :

You’ll have to send in your final grades anyway but as long as you got a 3.0uw overall in academic classes you’re fine. Below that, I think your offer gets revoked.

The conditions were: I have to maintain a B average and have to notify them if i get a D or F. In this case, I have one D.

One of you guys said its fine. The other said i have to report it… THIS ISNT HELPING.

It sounds like the conditions you were given are the same as those accompanying my son’s offer of admission. Specifically, he was told that he needs to complete all of the senior year courses listed on his application with an overall unweighted B average for each term and no grade lower than a C. The statement of conditions also says that he must notify the university right away if he did not meet the grade point average for any term or if the courses he is taking have changed. I think it’s pretty clear you need to let them know.

report it and then its out of your control.

as compared to hoping they don’t notice it on the final transcript?

“report it and then its out of your control.”

What he/she said.
