What are my chances for MIT, Caltech and Princeton?

ur sat I scores seem to be on the lower side for these colleges....u need atleast a 2100+ if u wanna have a decent chance....

RSI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOA! ur into MIT!

MIT doesn't need SAT 1 actually of international applicants. So MIT??

99% at MIT dude. Who gives a flyin f for SAT I. ur into MIT anyway...since RSI is a ticket in.

how about caltech and princeton?

Princeton 50%, Caltech, maybe higher

u applying for next year right...you are in at MIt or caltech so make sure u apply...RSI is gonna help big time..if u have time just retake the sat or dont bother if u dont want to..just do your activities and apply to top colleges you'll get in...you dont know how much impact RSI has on the colleges...but still do give the SAT a thought coz if u can do better..then hey good scores is not bad.

80% CalTech
80% MIT

HYPS are match schools thanks to RSI, since rickoids have a 70%+ chance at these colleges. Retake SAT I - will look solid if u got 2100+

uve got a splendid chance if u had other all stuff even gud.. ( if not gr8) at gr8 schuls.

SM

I guess he has already applied

Hi ashish, nice to see you here... I'm rushil. hope you remember me from KVPY!!

Well, youve got a great CV....
So hows your IIT prep going - mine is great!
ANyways, PM me and I want to talk about something with you!

Well, RSI is truly great!
Pity I didnt know anything about RSI till the KVPY people contacted me and told me that I could apply for next year! Damn! By that time, you and Asilata had already finished your program I think! Anyways, let's talk a bit! PM me! Which project did you do at RSI? Mind showing me! I sent an article I wrote on a problem of Relativity I am solving with a few romanian profs to a few colleges! I'd love to share that ! But first , PM ME!!!

MIT say that for internationals, the SAT 1 can be substituted for TOEFL and SAT 2 Math level 2, so dont worry about the SAT

Apart from that you look brilliant !!! Wow RSI...your app is great ...well done

I dont know about princeton but caltech love a math/science oriented student and you are certainly one ... with nice qualifications so a great chance there as well

As for Ronty 007 confusion, yes I applied this year. Actually much because of RSI. So SAT 1 was just go and give the exam type. I am primarily hoping to get into IIT i.e. JEE 2006. But, I got really interested in MIT after RSI. So probably MIT is the only place I am actually worried about. Moreover with the uncertainity JEE is to be associated with U.S. colleges I though would serve as a viable backup option.
Thanks for your replies. Hope to get more comments.

What's RSI?

U have a better chance at Princeton than at MIT, Caltech. No one can ever be sure about getting into MIT, Caltech. However, you have a great chance at all 3. :)

RSI makes him a strong contender for a place at MIT
RSI stands for Research Science Institute

Since I dont know much about RSI, based on everything else, I'd say you have good-great chances at MIT, Caltech.

Oh wow, only 75 students from around the world? Definately makes u a strong contender.

yeah very few indians make it to RSI....so thats in ur favor...
