<p>guys, RSI isn't the only place from which MIT picks it's students. Remember RSI is just 70-80, MIT picks ~ 1000. So just chill !</p>

<p>10 might be a little far fetched... but not totally unbelieveable I guess. In my year there were 6 RSI representatives from my school. Only 5 went though because 1 couldn't get a visa or something like that. And yeah they were the only representatives from Singapore. Haha sounds ridiculous but my school is really heavily represented in stuff like that and top tier colleges alike. (We have 70-90 people getting accepted at Cornell every year for example...) And anw, among the 5 I believe all applied to MIT, but only 2 got in... then again you can't really expect MIT to take in all 5 of them? So I guess RSI helps a great a deal (esp if your country is underpresented in RSI as well as MIT) but it is really not a sure ticket.</p>
