I have no idea how to evaluate your grades, but I can help with the rest:

  • Retake the SAT if possible. If you study hard enough, pulling your score up 100 points is reasonable.
  • What is your FIDE rating? 2000+ helps a lot.
  • FA will become very difficult as an international student. And even more difficult to get at a public university. If you want to learn coding, IIT will be a much better option for you than UMich.
  • Take 2 SAT II exams. Math II is an easy 800, and take one of the science ones.

Overall, in your financial situation, I think the smarter choice would be to pursue undergraduate studies in India and come here for graduate school.

But i want to go to USA as AI has no field or scope in india…And IIT? for that you need to be genious in PCM not computer
