hello, i am a junior in high school and i am going to be applying to college very soon, sad thing is, i have no volunteer/community hours and also i never got involved at school. i have been doing club soccer though for the past 6 years. are my chances low to get into a college such as Mills or Mount St. Marys? I do not want me not being 'involved' to effect everything entirely. I recieved 3.8 my sophmore year and junior year 4.0. So i just want to know, not having many extracurricular activies, would that effect a lot?

Yes, of course you will. Your GPA’s pretty good, and you can just emphasize your doing club soccer, you don’t need to do a million things. Most people don’t

With a high GPA like yours, you’ll definitely get in somewhere. It probably won’t be a big top tier school since involvement is really important in competitive schools like those, but you will go to college somewhere. And you can start getting involved anytime- now might be late to do it for college, but getting involved is for your benefit too. It’s lots of fun to be a part of a community, so definitely consider joining a club or organization in college (if you want) Good luck!

Chance me back?
