Will I have a better chance RD with better scores?

Agh. I can't believe I'm doing this, because I see all these chance threads all the time and claim that I'd never make one. But here it is!

See the thing is, I'm having a hard time deciding whether better test scores will improve my chance of getting in compared to applying SCEA with the test scores I have. But I also have to take the SAT II's and Stanford's last test date is October, so I have to pick one to send before admissions.

Asian American

I think your SAT scores are within the ballpark for Stanford. Unless you can get them above 2300, I would question the need to retake them. Stanford deemphasizes the SAT far more than other top schools, so you will probably be alright. Of course, Stanford does reject a fair amount of its early applicants, so the decision to wait is up to you. Do the subject tests in October, retake in Nov, and do regular decision.
