Bringing the SAT's up is a good idea, Stern's average SAT score is around a 1420. Your grades seem good, and as long as your courseload is the hardest possible I think you have a good chance. Though you dont have too many clubs/community service. All competitvie colleges are very unpredictable.

i'm actually treasurer of the med futures club, part of model UN, and JSA. I do community service by volunteering at robert wood johnson hospital, the park place center nursing home as well as with culturally based activities. i'm on the executive board for my culturally based youth group.think this will help?

needsinfo, I don't know much about admissions, but it certainly seems like you're a good candidate. Get your test scores and GPA as high as you can, and then write an awesome personal statement that expresses some part of your personality that doesn't come out in a resume or stats. You've got as good of a shot as anyone else does. :D

Never Fear! You'll do fine! : = )

thanks a lot guys...yes i sure hope so.

yea, I got into stern along with 3 other kids from my school. The scores were 1550 for me, 1540 for my one friend, (we got 20k and 15k in scholarship) the other two were around 1400 or just below. I would say with those classes that you took and your strong gpa, you have a very good shot at getting in.

ur fine

7

Good shot, but nothing is a guarentee, just remember that.
