When will I know? If i don't get contacted by February or so should I just assume I wasn't selected?

I know they can't interview everyone. Just curious. I love Cornell.

same question here. i haven't been contacted. what does that mean?

Don't worry about it. Interviews are only important for the Hotel and Arch schools.

Interviews don't mean you're in, and vice versa. A lot of applicants accepted didn't have an interview either because 1. they turned it down, or 2. there weren't alumi in their area.

I never got an interview and was accepted ED. I emailed a few different Cornell people while I was applying and got the same response from all of them:

"Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding a meeting with a Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassadors Network (CAAAN) member. These meetings with alumni representatives are completely optional. They are not interviews, but rather informal conversations that allow you to ask questions, become acquainted with another perspective on the university, and provide additional information about yourself.

CAAAN contacts with applicants are initiated by CAAAN members after prospective students submit their application, so we request that you simply wait to hear from someone. Occasionally, due to time limitations, geography, and volume, an applicant may not hear from a CAAAN volunteer. Please rest assured that your application will not be negatively affected if you are not contacted. "

no interview yet either...
