<p>Im going to RPI this fall. I'm definitely not a crazy partygirl or anything but I do like to party with my friends every once in a while on weekends. Do people drink at rpi? Are the frat parties fun? Or is everyone kind of a goody two shoes? Again this isnt my biggest concern but I would just sort of like to know.</p>

<p>Hi Camryn, welcome to RPI. I’m an upcoming senior here, and just like some of the replies said in the social life thread, it’s what you make of it. Greek life is pretty big here, and on any given weekend at least one or two frats will have parties, if not more. Some of the frats are better than other (I’m not gonna name any on here), but when you come you can get your own taste of which ones are the better ones. Some people also have parties at off-campus residences…just make sure you don’t walk off campus late at night by yourself (Troy can be a bit sketchy sometimes)</p>
