I’m attending the university of Arkansas this fall as an undergraduate architecture major, and I really want to rush. The problem is that architecture is the hardest major on the campus and has the heaviest workload. I can expect multiple all-nighters a week and pretty much no social life. So I’m worried that I’ll join a sorority and not even have time for it.
Will taking such a rigorous major ruin my college experience?
One of my friends daughters was an architecture major and there was definitely multiple all nighters…I dont’ think there is room for a sorority with that major. You will make friends with your other fellow architecture majors and you will have your own kind of social life.
No one can really answer that for you. The people who can come the closest are the ones in the chapter you’re thinking of joining who can describe what the time commitments and such are like. For example I was a biology/classics double major, D1 athlete and not only was in a fraternity but was president of it at one point.
