I will have taken 2 years of AP English, 2 years of AP History (and 1 year of AP Economics), and 1 year of AP Spanish. Will the English/History/Foreign Language reqs be taken care of with those APs assuming I pass everything?

I think it depends on the particular score you get, and the particular college you applied to within Berkeley.

I'm pretty sure you'll bypass the foreign language requirements if you get a 3+ on that AP.

English, I think you may need a 5 on Lit to bypass all the english requirements.

I think you're fine on AH&I credit for History, too, but the American Cultures requirement needs to be fulfilled at Berkeley.

Of course, this is all from personal experience (College of Chem) so I'm not sure it will be that way for you.

In addition to college and scores, it probably also depends on major.

Thanks guys.

Well, I'm definitely planning to be EECS, and I'll get at least 3's on all of my APs. English, if I get a 5 on either tests, will take care of the English requirements at Berkeley?

From what I've read, that is not true of the CoE. No matter what, you have to take the second half of a writing focused course that fulfills the r and c requirement. You will have to take at least 6 classes that are in the humanities or social sciences (including the previously mentioned class). You can choose to have them not be English or history or a foreign language if you so choose. Some r and c classes are English or history focussed, others are not.
