Race: URM

Locatino: NYC (inner city)

GPA: 3.5 (45 total credits)

Generally speaking, I took very difficult courses especially last semester.

Reason for transferring is I completely changed my college direction and want to pursue a major in music performance. Please help a fellow transferer-er out and let me know how I stand!!

How on earth did you get accepted into Yale transfer? Please, tell us your secret.

Hey Suddenquiet, why would you call me a ■■■■■? Did I offend anyone by saying I got accepted into Yale as a transfer and that I now wanted to be chanced for admission into NYU? Instead of being so snobby and elitist, why dont you try living your life in a third world country were people are faced with struggle everyday of their lives and dont have the luxuries of spoiled little children like yourself who hide behind computers all day fishing out the intricacies behind people’s post’s on a college forum.

For the record, I am not obligated by any means to disclose whether it is me applying, or my daughter or my son or friend or neighbor. This forum doesn’t state that anywhere so as far as MYself and the site is concerned, I am not breaking any contract/rules. I simply asked for peoples opinions if X person can get in, and if they did, I was obviously happy for them and expressed that by giving the status of their application…aka “they got accepted.” It’s sad to see how nowadays people are slowly becoming represented by their user names and taken so seriously by what that ''username" posts. Seriously, you guys need to lay off of people’s genitals on this forum and just assist those who need assistance…

Yeah so what are you talking about?? People just wanna know:

1) in last year’s Yale thread you said you got in.

2) The OP on this thread says (and I quote), “Please chance me” and then says you’re coming from Pace University.

Yeah and nobody thinks you’re “breaking any contracts.” Its not that serious. Its really more amusing that it appears as though you’ve gotten caught in a lie. And nobody thinks you transferred into Yale and now want to transfer into NYU…

ex10,
Forums like CC are only valuable as long as if members are up front and honest. Sure, you can ask for a friend, neighbor, etc., you just state it clearly so others know who you are discussing, members do this all the time. While it is true that you have no obligation to disclose who you are asking for, it is also true that no one here is obligated to believe you when your posting history is so obviously contradictory. What you post under your member name is important, if your posts don’t add up, your credibility is lost.
