Will I make it into the UW?

<p>I have a 3.87 GPA but my SAT scores aren't that great. 1650 overall. 620 verbal, 510 math, 520 writing. I am 21 out of 340'ish students. I have taken 7 AP classes, got the AP Scholar Award. I have about 40 hours of community service but it will bump up to 80 hours by the end of the year. I'm a good writer, (although my test score suggests otherwise) so my essay's should be solid. I'm horrible with correcting grammar but pretty good when it comes to essays, got a 10 for writing section. </p>

<p>I think I still have time to take the SAT test in December. I have about 3.8 weeks left to study for it so do you guys think it's worth it? I'm also in state. What are my chances of getting into the UW?</p>

<p>Pretty good chance. Just try to get the math SAT score up a bit and focus on writing a good essay for your app. Good luck.</p>

<p>Oh forgot to mention that I have a W on my transcript for AP Psychology. I dropped it in the first 2 weeks of school because of an issue with the teacher. Will this affect my chances at all?</p>
