Will I make it to Cal Poly Pomona

Im just wondering my chances pg making it to Cal Poly Pomona with a 3.1 GPA and a SAT score of 500 in CR and 540 in math( total of 1040) i applied as a computer engineer as my major and aerospace engineer as my secondary.

Good luck! It is possible – your GPA and SAT scores are a bit low. But, CPP may give you the go ahead. You’ll be in the bottom 25%-50%. But, that is still in the running!

Cal Poly recalculates everyone’s GPA, considering courses that fit the UC A-G requirements from 9th to 11th, and you get honors credit for honors/AP courses and courses taken in your local CCC (that can be transferred for CSU/UC credit).

So if you entered 3.1 as your GPA in the application, it is very likely your GPA is actually higher. They don’t consider the GPA in the app so you may have a chance.

Does my GPA need to be higher than a 3.1 for me to have a good chance? does my chances going in look good? or not so good?

Here is some good info I pulled from another thread for you:
